YEAR in Review

This page is a summary of the major projects that we have accomplished in the three years since becoming the owners of a 90 year old Pasadena bungalow.

 

2012

Finished the kitchen

Finished residing/rebuilding the garage

Replaced all of the attic insulation

Finished installing gas fireplace

Poured new concrete pillars and refinished the wood columns

Built a deck

“Temporary” bathroom remodel

 

2011

Reroofed the garage

Finished the raised garden beds

More back yard landscaping

Demolished our kitchen!!

Refinished hallway and linen closet

New kitchen almost finished, 6 months after ripping out the old kitchen

2010

Refinished front bedroom closet shelves

Landscaping in the back yard and front yard

Backyard cleanup

Built bamboo planters along the back yard

Started building a vegetable garden

Trees trimmed in back yard

Refinished and painted our bedroom

Refinished and painted the main room and the second bedroom

The entire house was fumigated

2009

House cleaned up

Laundry room rehabbed

All sewer lines and electrical replaced

Floors refinished

Primed the walls and ceiling with cheap white paint (for sanity) and moved in
