Garage Roof, continued

Lindsay, Spencer, Alex and I continued to work on re-roofing the garage all day Saturday, and most of today.   We finished removing the old roof, put plywood over everything, and have now put down tar paper and new asphalt shingle on half of the roof.  Alex and I will have to finish up this week.  It’s supposed to rain on Wednesday, which gives us a hard deadline.

Above:  Pile of old wood roofing material.  This is only half of what came off of the garage; the other half is in our neighbor’s yard, covering his rosebushes….  Below:  Alex and Spencer nailing asphalt shingles.  It’s pitch black outside right now, and they’re both still out there nailing shingles.
